A training Program on  Practical OOP & OOAD Basics will begin from October 10 at the BASIS Training Hall. The 80 hours duration course will be organized by BASIS. Classes will be on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am till 5pm.

The Practical OOP & OOAD Basics course effectively combines instruction on the software development processes, object-oriented thinking, the Unified Modeling Language (UML), N-Tier Architecture and Design Principles & Design Patterns for Object-Oriented software development. This instructor-led course will use lecture sessions as well as hands-on practical sessions.

  • Object Oriented Fundamental
  • Class-Responsibility-Collaborator (CRC) Analysis
  • UML overview
  • OO to Rational Database Modeling
  • SDLC (UP approach)
  • Design Principles & Design Patterns.
  • Use Case Modeling
  • Methodology (Agile, XP, RUP)
  • Software Development Best Practices

Course Highlights

. The course will start on October 10 (Friday), 2008. It will continue till November 7, 2008 . Each batch will have a maximum size of 30 . The training for each batch will be completed within one month. . The total training duration will be 80 hours . 22 classes will be held . Performance and learning activities for each of the trainees will be assessed throughout the program and certificates with detail grades will be provided at the end of the program.  
Expected Skills to be acquired after completion of the course
Upon completion of this course, trainee should be able to-
  • Design and implement a robust system in OOAD manner.
  • Describe the object-oriented software development process, including object-oriented methodologies and workflows.
  • Develop OO software architectures based on use-case analysis.
 

Schedule for the Course

  • 22 classes will be held and the course will be completed within one month

  • Every week five (5) classes will be held. One full day session (7 hours) on every Friday , and four evening session (3 hours- from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm ) on other days of the week ( Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday ).

Prerequisites for the Participants

To get desired benefit from the course, participating trainees should already have-

  • General understanding of programming. Familiarity with basic object oriented programming is a must.
  • At least one-year experience in core software development.
  • Understanding of the fundamental of system development process.
  • Understanding of the fundamental of RDBMS.
  • Basic knowledge in UML diagram
