Dhaka Amar DHaka is a grand carnival that will be organized July 25, 2008 to commemorate the birth day of Dhaka. This carnival will also inaugurate the two year long celebration festival of 400 years of Capital Dhaka. The traditional horse carts, various means of other transports (cow carts, elephants, boats/bojras) and traditional costumes will definitely create some impact over the participants. There will be 4 (four) different segments at the carnival and each segment will highlight 100 years of time-frame consisting of fashion parade and lifestyle show. The parade will start from Bahadur Shah Park at 9am and end at the National Parliament at 12pm.
