I have not watched this movie and so you should not take my word for this one.

As for my friends who watched it, it was absolutely not worth the money or the time. As is the case with most people who have watched previous films done by Emmerich, including Independence Day and Godzilla, they would begin to watch this one anticipating super special effects and classy action sequences. However, as my buddies tell me, that was NOT the case with this one.

Some people even watched it, hoping this would be another '300'. However, they too were depressed by the end of it. Apparently there is only one action scene where the protagonist takes on a sabre-tooth tiger and that's it.

Starring Steven Strait and the delicate Camilla Belle, the movie will be screened at the three day-long film festival currently going on at COTET, at 9:30 am on May 9.
