Neil Gaiman is undoubtedly the revolutionary amongst the fantasy-authors of UK and USA. Through his crisp writing style that blends modern day literature with Victorian myths, fantasy and horror, the author has revived fantasy in the early nineties through various media like graphic novels, novels, short stories etc. Some of his novels were adapted into films, one of which is Stardust, currently being screened at Star Cineplex.
The fantasy, with an all-star cast that includes Robert DeNiro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Claire Danes and Sienna Miller, fizzled out at the international box-office when released in 2007. However, the movie is worth the money for adventure and fantasy-lovers.
